These aren't rules. They're filters. Reference points for the moments when life gets complicated and you need a clear signal through the noise. Each one is simple by design. Simple things get used. Complex things get forgotten.

If it’s not a “hell yes,” it’s a “hell no”

A powerful filter for your time and energy. It forces you to move past lukewarm commitments and save your best effort for the people, projects, and opportunities that actually align with your purpose. Every weak yes is a no to something that matters more.

Doing some is better than doing nothing

Perfection is the enemy of progress. A 10-minute walk beats no walk. One healthy meal beats none. Small, consistent actions are the bedrock of lasting habits, and the antidote to the all-or-nothing thinking that leads to inaction.

Listen to your body

Your body is constantly providing data. Fatigue, stress, strength, pain. Learning to interpret those signals accurately, and distinguishing between the discomfort of growth and the warning signs of injury, is a critical skill for sustainable health.

Perspective is everything

Circumstances are objective. Your experience of them is subjective. The ability to zoom out, reframe a challenge, and appreciate the larger arc of your life is a superpower. Cultivate it and you stop losing time to things that don't actually matter.

Embrace being uncomfortable

Growth and comfort cannot coexist. Physical stress, mental strain, emotional risk. These are the price of admission for a meaningful life. Voluntary discomfort, chosen intentionally, is where adaptation lives.

Being healthy is a lifelong, habitual commitment

This is not a 12-week program. Viewing health as a lifelong practice removes the pressure to make extreme, unsustainable changes. Small steps, taken consistently, compound into something permanent.

Stoicism isn’t new, yet more valuable than ever

Focus only on what you can control. Your thoughts, your actions, your responses. Everything else is noise. Agency is the practice of directing your energy toward what's yours to influence, and releasing what isn't.
